Working With an Architect
Sometimes I have the privilege of working with an architectural designer on a larger project. This was an occasion where I trimmed a house for some customers in Chapel Hill. Rodney Ward was hired to design the main interior architectural elements pictured here.

We have worked on projects with Rodney before this one, so I was very glad to see him on the job. Working with a talented professional who respects the level of skill and care I bring is always rewarding. We installed all of the doors and interior trim for the job. Of particular note though was the coffered ceiling in the Living Room. There was an arched opening under the main staircase with doors to the Powder Room and Coat Closet. The Dining Room is paneled in solid Heart Pine, which was an adventure in grain matching. The colonnade for the Balcony was a lot of fun to build. Since these are all in close proximity to each other, the overall effect is very striking.
